What is the Azalea Academy Trainee Program?

The Azalea Academy Trainee Program is a unique training program that provides you with recognised qualifications, hands-on experience, and guaranteed job placement support. Our goal is to help you earn a certification and find a paid or voluntary role in your chosen field.

Are your qualifications recognised?

Yes, all our qualifications are internationally recognised and accredited by respected UK awarding bodies. We're an accredited training provider that offers courses throughout the entire UK, not just in London.

Where is the training delivered?

You can study remotely from anywhere in the UK or in person at one of our training centers. When it's time for your mandatory observations, your tutor will visit you on-site at your workplace or at a voluntary placement that we've arranged for you.

Where are your training centers located?

Our head office is in Central London, and we have additional training centers and offices in Croydon, Wandsworth, and Canary Wharf. We're also working to open new locations to make our courses more accessible across the UK.

Do you offer volunteering opportunities?

Yes, we offer volunteering programs in addition to our training and employment services. We'll find you a volunteer placement with one of our trusted partners that aligns with your chosen qualification. This is a great way to gain valuable experience, develop key skills, and build your resume. It's an ideal pathway if you're looking to start a new career or improve your job readiness.

Can I study without needing a job placement?

Yes, you can. While we do offer paid roles for those who want them, you can also complete your qualification independently, take part in our volunteering scheme, or request a role-play placement for your required observations.

Are workplace observations required?

Yes, most qualifications require a minimum of two workplace observations. Your tutor will visit you on-site at your paid job, a volunteer role, or a role-play placement that we provide. These observations are essential to assess your practical skills in a real or simulated work setting.

How long does the course take to complete?

The length of the course depends on your commitment:

 * 2-3 months with 1-2 hours of study every other day

 * 6 months with consistent weekly study

 * 8-12 months with a lighter study schedule

Keep in mind that all courses must be completed within 12 months and for Level Management 16 months.

How does the enrolment process work?

Once you apply, we will send you an enrol form link which requires you to upload ID and proof of address as well as a seeing a few assessment questions.

Once forms and documentation is received our team will contact you to explain the course and payment options. You'll then sign two forms—one for the qualification and one for the payment plan—and you'll be officially enrolled and added to our recruitment and training database

How does the payment plan work?

You'll make an initial payment after you enroll, and the remaining fees will be split into 12 monthly installments. Even if you complete the course early, you'll still continue to make the scheduled payments.

Is my salary used to pay the course fee?

No, your salary is yours alone. We don't deduct course fees from your income. You are responsible for managing your payments using your salary, savings, or other funding sources.

What types of jobs do you offer?

We offer permanent full-time, part-time, freelance, temporary, and flexible roles. All jobs pay at or above the national minimum wage and are matched to your qualification level you are undertaking and availability.

Do you offer CV and interview support?

Yes, we offer free workshops and one-on-one support, including CV editing and formatting, interview preparation, and confidence-building coaching. Our recruitment team will also professionally update your CV with your new qualifications and experience. You aren’t required to attend any workshop as our recruitment will do this all for you but of course we can schedule an appointment to assist should you want one to learn about the steps to employment.

What if I don't pass the first employer interview?

We will continue to support you until you are hired. Whether it takes two interviews or ten, we'll work with you until you are placed in a suitable job of your choice.

Can I stay in the job after completing the qualification?

Yes, the job is yours to keep. After you complete your course, you can continue in your current role, progress to a better job, or enroll in a higher-level qualification (for example, moving from Level 2 to Level 3 or 5).

How will the training be conducted, how often will I meet with my tutor, and how does the process work?

At Azalea Academy, we tailor your training to fit your personal schedule and learning style. Once you're enrolled, your tutor will create a custom training plan with you based on what works best. You get to decide how often you meet with your tutor—daily, weekly, bi-weekly, or as needed. These sessions can be one-on-one or in a group, and you can meet in person at one of our centers or remotely through our secure online learning platforms.

To assess your practical skills, your tutor will also arrange to observe you at your workplace or placement site with your manager's permission. These two required observations can even be completed in a single day.

You will also receive a login to our electronic portfolio system, which gives you access to a library of resources and educational tools. You can submit your work electronically through the portal or manually.

We are fully inclusive, and if you have a disability or any educational barrier, we will create a support plan to help you succeed. All of this will be discussed at your first tutor appointment so you'll never feel unsure or unsupported.

What happens after I complete my qualification?

After you complete your qualification, we'll celebrate your achievement at one of our official graduation ceremonies. We group all graduates from the same month and invite you to a formal event at one of our beautiful venues, where you'll get to walk across the stage just like at a university graduation.

The day is filled with celebration, including food, treats, guest speakers, and entertainment. We encourage you to bring your family and friends to share in your success and acknowledge all your hard work. We believe in recognizing effort, commitment, and success, and our graduation events are a core part of how we honor our learners' journeys.
